At some point over the next few years (I’ll be in my mid 30s) I’m considering enrolling on aAccess to HE Course, foundation degree or something, anything really that will enable me to work part time on ok - ish money.
The problem with my previous jobs is that they have been specific to that sector, so opportunities to move around or be self employed haven’t been available. I’ve considered nursing, but I don’t have ANY childcare options so wouldn’t be able to commit to placements/shifts so I’ve ruled it out.
I suppose what I’m looking for is a job/career where I would have the option to be self employed if I wanted to and not be at the mercy of an employer.
