Quitting your job because of redeployment

Has anyone quit their job because of redeployment? I'm seriously considering just quitting, I've recently been redeployed because of the current situation and I honestly hate it. Its beyond my skill set and I'm just not mentally coping with what i have to do. I spend my days off panicking about my next day and its having a knock on effect on my family.
I honestly get we all have to do our part, but where I have been redeployed to is nothing like the job I signed up to do! I absolutely love the job I currently have and would be gutted to lose it at the end of all this, but I dont think I can carry on at where I have been currently placed.

Can you say what your job is and what you've been redeployed to do? In my hospital, I've seen some people being forced into doing roles that are very far away from their own role and are quite frankly dangerous e.g. AHPs being told to dispense meds and take blood.

Could you go to your proper manager and explain how you're feeling and what you are thinking about doing? If your new role is out of your scope, you can say no as well. No one can force you to do a job you weren't employed to do, well, not easily anyway if it's the NHS.

Ask for more training? Speak to manager? Ask for another redeployment? If you quit, what about getting another job? Can you manage? Are there other jobs available in terms of what you want to do?
