Funding for standalone beauty courses - Want to do Nails and Body piercing.

I am currently unemployed and want to use the opportunity to train in something I can do on a self employed basis and have chosen to initially take a nail course and a body piercing course.

The issue is that I am on Universal Credit and can't find any information on funding stand alone courses like this. I can't get a Professional Development Loan because of my credit history (it's not terrible but I know I would be denied it). Other than saving is there any help out there that I am entitled to?

Some courses are funded by the government however these are mostly level 3 and above, so it depends on the qualification you get at the end of the course.

Can’t you do the course part time along side a job?
