on unpaid and resigned but havent heard back from them

I have resigned from my day job as I am coming to the end of unpaid maternity leave and im a week away from when I am supposed to start back and havent heard from them. Should they confirm they have received my resignation? I owe some occupational pay back at date of leaving too so am getting slightly worries that i havent heard yet. Anyone any ideas?

I would give them a chase, including a copy of your earlier resignation letter. They should have acknowledged your resignation.
