Would someone please calculate this salary for pro rata?

The role is 37 hours a week. Term time only, except for 10 training days (which I'm assuming are paid).

Salary is 20k pa.

Basing it on 13 weeks school holidays, minus 2 weeks for 10 days training. I'd say it was 41 weeks paid employment.

£20k/52 x 41 = £15769.23

But divide £20,000 by 52 then times by how many weeks worked.

How many weeks of holidays are there? If there are eg 13, then divide 20000 by 52 (or 52.143 to be completely accurate) then multiply by 39, or 41 if the 10 days are paid.

39 weeks term time plus 2 weeks training plus 5.6 weeks holiday is what you should be paid for, assuming you can’t take holiday during term time. So 46.6 weeks pay.

I would say 38 weeks is term time plus 10 days training. The 39 week includes 5 training days.

Will you actually be working 37 hours or is the pay based on working 37h but you’ll only be working 30?

I dont think you are entitled to the full 5.6 weeks holiday if it is term time only - it will be a bit less than that. Something like 41/52*5.6. Then that added to the term time weeks.

Legally you have to have paid holiday, so the term time weeks paid the 2 weeks training + holiday weeks paid

As possible stated it’s 5.6 weeks paid holiday, 39 term time weeks & 2 weeks training = 46.6 weeks rather than 52
