I'm looking into qualifying in various beauty-type treatments so that I can work for myself, however going to college full time isn't possible, between work, kids, school runs etc.
I've found quite a few places that offer individual treatment qualifications where they do all the practical training in a day, but send you theory materials beforehand. Has anyone here done this and successfully started their own business?
Also, what about online qualifications? I've done one that was very detailed theory, assessments per module etc and didn't need practical training, but they offer courses with videos for anything with a practical element. Again, how successful can you be with these types of qualifications?
