Hi All

I wrote a previous thread about how my nhs banding was incorrect and was fighting for a review. Long story short, I sort of won as I'm now a Band 5 in a new post to begin end of April. So no back pay as expected but at least I'm finally where I want to be going forward.

My question is this:
Do I still get my Band 4 salary as calculated in weeks 17-25 of pregnancy?
Or now I am soon to be Band 5, will this be reflected during maternity leave?

I really bloody hope so Blush
(Although I know how lucky I am to receive more than standard SMP in the first place)

Any advice appreciated x

As far as I am aware it will only be increments and pay awards that will increase your maternity payments once the qualifying months have passed. Your mat pay should be based on the new band 4 salary that will be implemented from April 1st

@Jessica71 thanks for replying. Ah, I was hoping the payrise would be counted as a pay award! Would really make a difference
