So I have a gorgeous 7 month old and I've just found out baby number two is on the way!!! Shocked to say the very least. I'm in need of some advice. I'm an NHS nurse and I've just accepted a new part time job at a different trust to start in feb/March. I have a few questions.. first of all, with it being a different trust am I still entitled to a years pay? Second of all.. I'll be going back doing 22.5 hours (band 5 salary) so if I the answer to the previous question is yes then does anyone have a rough idea of how much I'll bring home a month? I'm panicking. Help!!!

Contact payroll and they will calculate your salary for you. I had a friend who got pregnant in may leave (works for nhs) and she received all her benefits. Contact hr for clarification but I think you'll be fine Smile

It should still count as vontinuous service but obviously pay will be less until SMP kicks in as you're contracted for fewer hours
