well - that just about sums it up really...
On Frid DS1 will leave his pre-school to go to proper school, after having been there for 4 years!
There are 4 teacher/carers we plan to give a thankyou card to and a little gift. However one of them is really special - she has been there all the time, and has followed him through the various rooms. I know she is personally sad to see him go.
I'd like to do something a bit more special, but I don't know what. Thought about perhaps writing a personal thank you letter, saying how much I have really appreciated her input into my son's development, but I don't know if that might be a bit over the top? Also what gift? She's a lady in her late 40s I'd guess?
The other thing is that we still have DS2 at the nursery, so it's not as if we'll never see her ever again...
