FOREVER LIVING

Hello my daughter is 8 months and I'm due to go back to work in February a friend told me about a company called forever living. She said I'd be able to work from home and have so much family time, I'm seeing mixed opinions on this company? Is it all to good to be true? My gut feeling is yes or why wouldn't everybody be doing it. She basically told me all I would need to do is buy a box on the products for 200 pounds and recommend them to people she said I would make money each month off recommendations and didn't even have to get anyone to buy a product?? Any advice or past experiences would be great

Yes although one blocked me when I said something very mildly critical of the business model

When she stopped doing FL she never mentioned it again and nor do I

She’s deleted her FB

So you have to spend £200. (How much of that goes to your “friend”?) And if you can’t flog the products? You will need to find more —mugs— people to buy the £200 box.

Oh and btw they say the products are amazing but they are big standard and very overpriced (so everyone in the pyramid gets a cut)

Previously been a forever living rep, although I do genuinely love their products - they are overpriced and I got mega guilty asking friends and family to pay £15 for soap. I still have my account for personal use and get 25% off all my products.

Switched to a good old Avon round, it makes me a bit of extra cash along side my day job for little extras. I don't have to bug anybody, less than £20 to get a round and I don't have to annoy my Facebook friends for orders. No interest in running a "team" or recruit right now as I'm way too busy for all that which as posted above - is the only way to make any real money on FL.

I'll just leave this here: southporttimes.co.uk/?p=1584

Oh, and here's a slightly more serious article about a young mum who got sucked into FL - thankfully she saw the light and escaped: www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-3598017/amp/Can-really-earn-350-000-year-selling-aloe-vera-thousands-women-join-controversial-home-selling-empire-read-Candice-s-cautionary-tale

Its a pyramid scheme. I know I'm not allowed to say that but it is.

And things that seem too good to be true always are.

BitOutOfPractice · 08/11/2018 23:49

If you do do it prepare to lose all your friends.

... and your money, sanity, judgment, time and control of your bowels if you start drinking their vile aloe gloop.
