Looking for clarification if possible just to check i have read this right. Can't put contract up in case it is outing so will explain as much as i can.
Employer on probation, clause re probationary period states 2 weeks written notice OR immediate termination with 2 weeks money in lieu. Probation is 3 months.
Further down a clause states termination can occur with immediate effect if an employee does x, y or z - think shaming the company, illegal activity etc. Here it says if employed under 1 month termination is only one week's money.
Am I right in thinking that unless the reason for termination meets the specified conditions in the later clause, then the terms under the probationary period clause stand?
Hope that makes sense...trying to work out if owed one week's notice period or two based on what the letter of termination states - which doesn't meet any of the reasons stated under the latter termination clause
