Returned after mat. leave and agreed part-time hours but........

I normally do five days and am on-call 24/7, it was agreed hat I return part-time three days a week and am on call for the weekend. this is pro-rata

Now I am being expected to be on call for the two days that I am at home, can I challenge this?? I will not be paid for these days so why should I be working?

Any thoughts please!!

You say it was agreed that you are on call for the weekend so yes you can challenge it. Did you get the agreement in writing? They are in breach of terms and conditions so you need to raise the issue with them.
