Need a job & don't know what to do

Hi

I'm 33, I have 3 children and I went to go back to work full time. I did 2 years of a degree and left due to personal problems. Not looking for a high paying job, anything that starts at 18k. Thing is I've not had an interview in 10 years, last Job was 9 years ago before I left in my pregnancy.

Any advice for interviews and c.v? Is temping jobs a good start perhaps? I've have some of my own bits I've done personally but nothing on a contract via interviews. I feel like a lost cause.

You are definately not a lost cause! I always find starting to write a CV really hard but once you get started it’s a lot easier. Start with the basics and write down your qualifications. Then things about all your strengths, hobbies, what skills you have learnt as a mum of 3 (I’m sure there are lots - although for me I feel like I’m a referee with my 3 sometimes). Once you have started with all the good things you will fell loads better and will help you feel more confident.
