AM I ENTITELED TO SICK PAY ANY ADVICE PLEASE?

I am onsick leave my employers say i fall below the ni low wages i work part time and get 5.51ph i do 16 per week could someone give me some advice they have sent me a ssp1 form last thursday but have not yet received it and returned my sick line with it to say they arenot paying me sick money

The Lower Earnings Level for National Insurance is £87.00 per week so you should be paying NI and you should get Statutory Sick Pay if you are sick for 4 or more days in a row.

Are you sure your figures are correct? Can you check back on your payslips? You do have to have been earning over this amount during a qualifying period.

An SSP form is a form explaining why you can't get sick pay. It explains how to claim Incapacity Benefit instead if you are entitled to it or how to appeal against the decision if you disagree with it.

i have contacted my wages department because my manager didnt put through for 1 days hols i fall under the bracket i stated to them this was not my fault and i have spoken to my manager she said i was off sick she telling lies and i told her that so what do i do i have asked head office they dont have my time sheets she has taken them home
