Should I refuse to work with a certain person or just suck it up?

I have a weekend job. I dont have a regular partner for this, I need a partner for part of the job
The last one left despite being annoying initially.
I am a newbie and also only weekends.
One of the people who i occasionally do the shift with is mean and obviously doesnt like me. she makes me feel small.
Last time I did say to her not to agree to do this particular shift, she was complaining about doing it.
I have monthly appraisals but the boss is a bitch.
Would you bite your tongue or mention this?

After the last time working with her I was determined to mention her attitude at my appraisal but decided against it.

Honestly?
You will save yourself a lot of time and trouble if you ‘kill her with kindness’.
Be disarmingly friendly and charming. You don’t have to mean it.

It makes for a very long day if you have to work with someone who isn’t nice, but if it’s just once in a while i’d try and suck it up. Smile, be pleasant and take their lead - if they don’t want to chat, then just keep conversation to work issues. I’ve had to suffer being partnered with less than pleasant folk on occasion & just told myself they were clearly unhappy people & thankfully i only had to suffer these architects of misery till end of shift!!
