Marina - I know exactly how you feel! My sons nursery in under a week has had outbreaks of:
Scabes, chicken pox, foot and mouth, vommitting and diarrhoea and measles - great!

My son had a measles jab a month ago - do you know how long it takes for the vaccine to become effective - I thought it was 6 weeks?

I did know what it meant, it just sounded funny. There is a spell check - the preview function.

Robinw, so sorry to hear that, I've never really suffered but sleep deprivation over a long period of time must be awful.

Just a thought, I like to think back to the really 'good ole days' (not!)when we were hunter/ gatherers, as that seems to explain how we've evolved mentally. If you think about childcare then, it was always done as a 'collective' with all the kids running around together while the mothers looked after them 'en masse'. I guess a nursery is pretty much like that, so they can't be so bad!
