Academia and working from home or flexible hours

Is anyone on here currently working in academia? If so, how far do you think working from home/flexible hours is generally acceptable in a research post (in the humanities). I'm applying for postdoc posts at the moment (having recently completed a PhD) but ideally need to be able to work from home - say one or two days a week. Is this realistic? Is it better to ask about this at an interview stage or better to wait until if I am offered a post? I know academics usually do above the contracted hours and am prepared for this but would like to know that some of this can be done at home.

There have been some past threads on this but I couldn't find any which were not several years old. And I wondered what the situation is like now.
