Hi, as above? Also if you have done it, how long did it take you to finish the nvq? And what do you qualify as, and where did you start to do course and where did you work after completion? Sorry lots of question, but seriously thinking about doing this course! Any help/feedback much appreciated

If you get a job in a pharmacy you will need to do the NVQ 2. A pre-reg technician has to do the NVQ 3 and BTEC. If you don't have a job in a pharmacy, IMO it's not worth doing as so much of it is on the job experience. I'd be surprised if the college let you.

Yep it is certainly a course you do as part of the job rather than independent study.

Hi thanks for replies I currently work in a pharmacy, started a few mo the ago and pharmacist, has enrolled me on the dispensing course, I had a look o line and can do nvq3 straight after, but would prob like to aim higher after doing it job wise if i was to do it, also how long does it take, and is it managable to do with a busy family life! Kids going through gcses etc?
