Ideas to make £400 per week from home? Matched betting?

HI, does anyone have experience of matched betting and if so, do you think I could make £400 a month by doing it?
Do you have any other ideas for what I could do from home to make this amount either in the evenings or weekends when I have spare time?
At the moment I work from home but after childcare and bills I have less than £100 per month and that's being lucky! If I didn't have childcare, all I'd need to pay my expenses is £400 per month and there must be a way to make that from home? I've heard a lot of MNers talk about matched betting and i'd be interested to find out more. Thank you all in advance

Oh that's a lot to try to earn from home, that's equivalent to a £24k salary.

You can definitely make £400/m with matched betting. If you haven't done it before and therefore don't have many bookmaker accounts then you can reap the rewards of all the new customer offers. There's loads out there. You should be able to make close to £1,000 by completing all of these.

As for long-term matched betting, £400 is easily achievable once you get in the swing of things and know what the most profitable offers are.

Good luck :) Once you start seeing the money come in you'll be hooked on it!

Duh ! Totally misread this, thought you wanted £1600 a month Grin

Looks like the title or the body text is wrong. Week, month, who knows! lol. I suspect Mummypig09 meant £400 a month. £1600 a month is achievable but you'll need a big bank :)

EDIT!! Sorry my fault I meant £400 a MONTH :-)

MyfatheristheKing · 29/11/2017 15:27

Sharon you sound like someone who knows what they are doing :)

SharonNE · 29/11/2017 16:14

I've been doing it for around a year and a half. I'm not a pro but do well from it.

If you're just starting out then I'd recommend following some of the guides and examples first. There's lots of free trials out there at matched betting sites that gives you access to the training. I use www.matchedbets.com. Good offer guides there and they have live chat support who has helped me out on more than one occasion! :)

My husband did this and made a massive amount in the space of a year to put toward a deposit on our house. - something like £8k - he was doing it all the time though every spare minute. We have now moved and thinking of setting up new accounts in my name so we can start again to pay for my maternity leave. He will do it though as my brain is not up to it and I'll probably lose us a complete fortune!!

I remember he had one fruit machine type bet and won nearly £400 with Just that one bet!

The money is definitely there if you put the time and effort in.

Online poker can make money. It takes time though, in about a year of playing recreationally you'll make 50 a week which sounds awful. But eventually you move up the stakes and earn more, the most I've ever won is just under a grand in one game. You'll win and lose all the time, you have to balance it out using EV.

Give it a try at the really really cheap stakes so you lose a tenner at most then work your way up.

I'd also get your mental math up to scratch first because you have very little time to do your sums.
