My friend was recently offered a job at a big name company (RM) given the offer over the phone including salary and holiday allowance.
She agreed to it, was sent an email with same salary listed but no mention of holiday.
Handed in her notice in old job so she could start on date requested and has now received the contract with a lower holiday allowance. They have apologised for the error and said the contract stands, what should she do?
Make a fuss (and if so how can she word it and will they be able to revoke the offer?) or just accept the change even though it’s unfair as she gave in her notice on the basis of what was offered? I feel so sorry for her being put in this position
