Has anyone ever done other people's ironing?!

Ok, I have 3 children under 5 and could do with a little extra cash. I thought about doing a leaflet drop advertising my ironing services! Now I don't even do my own ironing most of the time but this is the only thing I can think of...I already clean once a week and sell loads on e-bay.

So has anyone evr done this? What are your experiences and what would competitive rates be?

i made flyers and put them up in local shops, word of mouth is how i have got my business (most of it anyway)

i do my aunts and she lives in sheltered housing - she told everyone at the bingo - now i do most of the complex!

A lady does mine - I give her a large basketful and it has never cost more than £12.

I think she charges by the amount of time it takes her to do it - she must be very fast is all I can think. She irons beautifully though. I think I love her actually
