HI, I started a fixed term contract last October which runs until August. I'm a TA in a school so obviously would like to know before the holidays. Is it appropriate to ask if/when or not?
A colleague who started after me asked last week. She is in a slightly different position (I'm a class TA, she's a 1-1) and was told they'd have to let her go as they were having make cuts.
I'll also have to secure my youngest's nursery place soon if I'm to continue working there as he's pretty much F?T atm.
