Hi all, I am due to return to work in a company where the norm is for the employees to do about 2 hours overtime per day on top of their usual 9 to 5 working hours. This is something I used to do before I became a mother but now I am considering discussing working my full 8 daily contracted hours but not more than that (Unless of course overtime is needed in exceptional cases). I wanted to ask if anyone has gone through the process of agreeing with their company to work only contracted hours/no overtime ,unless in exceptional cases, in such working environment and if yes give any insight to how did you go about it, implications for their work role and if you have any general advice on the matter?
