Anyone work in a support role at own child's secondary school?

Just wondered what your thoughts are on this and whether it had proved problematic in any way? (It would be in a non teaching role (finance/admin)

I do. I hardly ever seem him.

At first he asked me not to acknowledge him if I ever saw him around school but as his friends make such a fuss of me when they do happen across me he now even acknowledges me himself. ;)
