RAF and single parent

I am really considering joining the RAF. My dad had been in there until he retired, and is very well looked after.
My quey is do you think it is actually possible to join when you have a 1 yo dd?
I am thinkin of joining as a Administration Officer. And has anyone done this before on there own?

Most civilain jobs on camps are in the local job centre, i know this because my friend worked as an Admin Assistant on base here, it was a year contract, and then a different job came up. She was told she could apply for it once it had gone to the jobcentre.
Civvys don't get overseas dets, but they also don't get a house etc. They do however get to use facilites on camp, including , if there is one, a childcare facility. Where i live there is one built by the RAF benevolent fund, and 95% of place are taken up by civvies on camp, families posted in cannot sned their child to playgroup, nursery, after school club etc as there is no places. Sorry that is a little rant, not aimed at you girly
