Advice needed re promotion in school & pregnant.

Hi all,
I'd really appreciate some advice if possible. I've worked in my current school for coming up to 2 years. I've just found out I'm about 5 weeks pregnant. My head has verbally offered me a promotion to a senior role from September. I don't know what to do. I had a miscarriage last summer (he doesn't know) so I'm very reluctant to say anything now. My new contract won't start (& I won't even get it) until 1st September. I'll be 12 weeks mid June I think so I could tell him them. Could he not go through with the job offer? I will be going back after 9 months. I want to be open with him but it's too early. Any advice?

Do nothing yet. Tell him at or after 12 weeks if you want to, and no he can't withdraw a promotion because of pregnancy.
