how to use Instagram as a sales tool

Hi all,
I run a small business from a Facebook business page. It has grown and grown in the past few years but Facebook is annoying me.
Problem is, they've really cut down on my post reach so only maybe 200 followers out of 3600 are seeing my posts.
I ran my first sponsored ad the other day which has improved my reach but I'm wondering how I would use Instagram as a new platform? I've never used Instagram and don't really get it, so any help would be appreciated.
I am literally a techno-idiot so nothing too complicated please! Thank you

I think you post loads of pictures of your products, hashtag all the keywords you can think of, especially location if you're selling locally.

You can't link from Instagram, but people do images of coupons etc for good deals.

That's what I think anyway, but haven't really tried it out myself.

Best thing would be set up your account and start exploring what others are doing
