What happens next - bullying claim

A group of staff at work have put in a claim about our manager. They have given examples of when she has bullied and intimidated them.
A very senior manager (2 or 3 'ranks' above our manager) now wants to meet everyone to discuss.
Will she be suspended? Should her manager not get investigated too as she has 'allowed' it to continue and known what the culture of the dept was like.
Work all so difficult because of this and the uncertainty of what might happen now people have spoken up about how they're feeling.

They have to speak to witnesses to get a feel for whether to discipline, or suspend. Although you could ask to meet the person investigating alone if you prefer.
To be honest in my experience someone complains, everyone is given a chance to speak up and they say...nothing.
Everyone should ideally plan what their issues are, an open forum bitch fest will not be useful.

It sounds like it is being taken seriously and a dos ion to ring a higher tier of management in means you (they) have the opportunity to hear why a complaint has not been dealt with by the line management.

It's a chance to hear individual sides of what is felt has or hasn't happened so it can be dealt with.

I would view it as a positive step and keep information factual.
