Suggestions for family friendly jobs

I've just returned to work after maternity leave. I currently work shifts in a hospital theatre department. I realised long term working shifts with a young family doesn't work for me. Can anyone suggest any jobs that have more suitable hours I.e between 9-5 or even term time only would be my dream. Salary wise it doesn't have to be loads enough to cover childcare costs and keep me in the world of employment.

Hi Cadburyhome, have you thought about using your skills but in a different environment, perhaps considering other theatre situations that might work standard business hours? I'm thinking of things like plastic surgery, or maybe small private hospitals that might do more pre-arranged operations like hip replacements. Is that a possibility?
