Am thinking about a career change into HR, specifically the training and development side of things. I'm currently 7 ish years into a teaching career (secondary school) and have held head of department posts and school-wide responsibilities, so have some management experience. After going back from maternity I just don't feel the same passion for, or enjoyment of, teaching and I've decided now is the time to try for a career change.
Any kind mumsnetters feel like sharing their knowledge of working in this field? I'm trying to do as much research as possible.
