I work as a Team Leader and Sunday Manager for a crap retail store. Since last week there have been some major staff changes and no-one has even bothered to pick up the phone to tell me.
The manager has been removed
the assistant manager and one of the team leaders are running the store
2 of my sunday staff are now supervisors (for me ona sunday aswell!)
I have been told this by the sunday staff who have an average age of 18. I turn into work and the two 'supervisors' are telling me of all the changes. To say I am cross is an understatement. How on earth am I suppossed to motivate a team of staff if the person in charge does not even communicate with me. Surely it would be common deceny and professional to inform me of such changes?
Tbh I feel like handing my notice in, but really need to calm down first....
If I am being petty, please put me straight!!
