As the title says really.

Have been asked for this instaed of full blown CV ,which I haven't done anyway.

Having been in the same profession for donkeys years I have not really needed a CV , now a change of direction. Have been on a career break for 3 years, but a reasonable amount of life experience.

So what do I put in such a letter.

Off to do the school run , will be back later .

Thanks

Not sure if this will help but I was a Recruitment Manager for large company before mat leave - I would suggest letter is no longer than 1 page as I wouldnt have had time to properly read more than that. Highlight main skills that you have and achievements in prior roles, reason for career break and reason for wanting to return to work and I would suggest you are clear and honest about what you want/are able to do when you return to work.. Let me know if you have any further Qs as I am happy to try and help. Good luck!

Just to clarify - when I said skills, behavioural skills are as important as technical skills...
