I work in secondary school. My school said that I underperforming and that they may start capability. they said i look tired and that i might be ill. I checked iwth my GP and he signed me of for exhaustion for 1 week. I do feel the burn out will take time to recover but i do not want to take more time off ( I was going to interviews/ took a lot of time off/ my school was not happy and now taking more time off because of burn out is probably risky). I thought 1. to book appointment with the line mmanager and say I am still not 100% but with school's support I would like to go back to work or 2. ask GP to say to issue a note that I work on a reduced hours?

Are Occupational Health involved? Have you sought union advice? Your union should be involved if capability or underperformance have been mentioned.

OP, it would be better if you posted on one of the many threads about this same topic which you have previously started and abandoned. Otherwise, people keep asking the same questions over which you have previously answered and you are getting nowhere.
