If a client is paying an agency £18 per hour for your services, how much should you ask the agency to pay you? Thanks in advance for any views.

From my experience from working for agencies I would expect the employee to get £7 - £9 per hour, it is usually under 1/2 what the agency charge that is paid to their employees

If my company pay £250 a day, the worker gets around £200. At a guess of an £18 ph rate I reckon worker should get £13.50 - £15.00 ish.

Thanks all. It's helpful to have a range of views. Will categorically not work for less than £10 p.h. and have told the agency this from the outset so I think I'm going to ask for 13 and settle for 10-12.

lol @digression, batters!
