Ways to keep money coming in while starting up?

Hello I am a mum to my 1 year old ds. I am starting my own business and very nearly there with launching it. However I really need to get some money coming in now as things are getting a bit tight financially. I wondered if anyone could recommend or share stories of what they did in this situation? I need to get something very quickly, really, and I am happy to do something like cleaning for example, something straight forward with no office politics and demanding bosses, I just don't have the brain power for that right now..Tia !

What business are you launching? Could you launch earlier, or do some other paid work connected with it? In the meantime, are there any benefits you could claim until you're up and running?

Thanks for your reply softkitty, I am going for temping work part time as it's too scary relying on my new business for all the bills etc right now. It will slow things down a bit but as I've done a lot of the groundwork already hopefully I can launch soon! x
