Do they not have a helpline or something you can ring if you've checked the rules and they're not clear? You're not going to get a conclusive answer on here.

i have spoken to my work place and tax credits my workplace are going to give me guarrenteed overtime of 4 hours for a day every 4 weeks i have spoken to tax credits they said this is fine as i would be working 23,23,23,27 and would still average 24 hours per week so it can be averaged out

Good. I think the rules were clear , you were worried that you weren't adhering to them as work were doing you a favour .

Really glad you have sorted it out.

the rules were pretty complicated as i have always done regualar overtime thats why i was also paid 24 on average but we lost alot of business before xmas thus been less overtime n it was less regular which got me worried as when i read the rules it said overtime needed to be regular like most of last year i worked 23 24 23 24 n so on then 1 month id have a whole day instead overtime n i was paid extra when i had made up the 52 hours extra i was been payed
