Managing high stress job with high risk pregnancy

My apologies if this comes out a bit jumbled, and is still hypothetical, but is hopefully on the horizon IYKWIM.

I have worked for the same employer for 12 years, pt since having dd. Work is currently very stressful and is likely to be so for the next year or so.

I also suffer from recurrent MC and OH and I have decided finally that we can face trying again. I know that if I become PG, life will become a cycle of weekly scans, each 3hrs traveling time away due to consultant locations, and although I try to keep a lid on it, stress, anxiety and fear.

Does anyone have experience of balancing or dealing with this amount of work/family life stress? Work have been good previously at listening to Occ Health recommendations for minor adjustments, but these didn't really reduce the amount of pg related stress last time.

I've recently been disempowered at work (due to the arrival of a new manager) and so now have no decision making or reporting responsibility. However, the work related stress levels haven't reduced accordingly.

What do people in high risk pregnancy situations do with regards to work?
