Quick question re tax credits and childcare

I am going to apply for a full time job probably starting after xmas if I am successful. I will use a childminder for the youngest 2 of my 5 kids - total childcare hours will be approx 100 hours per month costing roughly £700 pm.

I am slightly confused about how the child care costs you can claim, actually works. Does everyone get 70% paid or is it dependent on salary? Would I get any help with costs from tax credits on a combined salary of £39,000/£40,000??

I entered all the relevant details on the website and according tothat, the amount of ax credits will be about the same ut it didn't mention child care costs.

Can anyone give me some advice on this, thanks.

Yes I have (thanks anyway for the tip)

It is telling me they will pay me£382 per week in total. However, it does not specify if any of that is towards child care costs. I was wondering if anyone knew if it would be included in this figure quoted?
