Hairdressers!... HOW can I get back to work in a salon??? HELP!

I've been level 2 Qualified since 1997, I've been doing mobile hairdressing while my children were very young, but now they're all at full time school and I have more time, I REALLY want to get back into a salon - I love hairdressing, and I hate doing mobile. Because I haven't worked in a salon for so long, will anyone even consider giving me a job? Has anyone got any tips/advice? TIA

A lot of salons let you hire a chair don't they? That's what my friend did when she was newly qualified.

Yes they do - I have looked into this, but initially it's a pretty expensive way to go - it's around £25 per day, I am a single mum of four so it would be pretty hard until I built up a clientèle! If this is the route I have to take then I will, but obv finances worry me!
