DP has just got a job working for a charity after 15 years self-employed.
He had a complete about-face work-wise, so has effectively gone in at the bottom of his new field. He contacted the Welsh Council for Voluntary Action (can't remember the English equivalent) and did a few courses with them. Got help with his CV (from me and them), applied for a job he saw on indeed.co.uk, prepared really well for his interview and - bingo. It helped that he wanted to work in a fairly under-subscribed industry.
