It's just dawned on me that I return to work four weeks today Sad

I do like my job but will miss my little boy so much Sad

Plus I have a new manager who I'm not that keen on and the person who has covered me hasn't done a good job at all (management know this) so I've got extra work to do to build the project up again.

My ds is currently doing one day per week in nursery and I'm supposed to be using the time to get organised before I go back.

Waaa I don't want to Sad

Anyone else going back soon?

I go back mid august so DS2 will be 8 months. I had to do the same with DS1 for financial reasons. I'm also having to go back f/t as they won't accept me going p/t (so much for flexible working in the NHS eh!)
They did agree to me working 4 days a week til January but only if I use annual leave to cover that 5th day. It's making life slightly easier as the Dc will be at nursery every day bar the day MIL has them, and DS1 qualifies for 15 hours free in January. I am dreading it tbh.

I am due back in September. My LO will be 8 and 1/2 months. I am not looking forward to this at all. Have been doing a few KIT afternoons which have been enjoyable mainly for the fact that it's not proper work and no rushing around to get ready.

hoping to reduce to 4 days a week. is it me or does anybody else get wound up by people, especially those without children, look down at you for returning to work???
