Hey everyone,
DH has his own company which I used to do the books for years ago. I aren't book keeping trained at all, and our accountant gave us Sage which I barely muddled through but did somehow.
Anyway roll on 10 years and I'm back doing the books again (by choice - I do like numbers, even if I aren't really sure what I'm doing!). I've started with Sage again but have made so many corrections all ready that I'm frustrated so have done the learn direct Sage training course. I got it from Groupon for £60 which I thought was a great price.
I've done the first part and already feel much more confident, and because I'm unhappy with the corrections I've made I think I'm going to wipe the data and start again.
We've only been going since beginning of April (company changed so it was like starting again) so if I do it's only a couple of months of entries I'll have to redo...I'd rather spend time redoing stuff then have all those corrections. I think I must be a perfectionist at heart.
Can any of you Sage experts tell me why starting again and wiping Sage would be a bad idea?
Thanks
x
