professional cv writing service - is it worth it?

I was surfing the net for some cv writing advice as I'm not happy with mine. I came across some cv writing services. Just wondered if anyone had used one of these and if it's worth it? It would cost me about 40 pounds but if it helps me to find a job that would be well worth it. Anyone done this?

No idea, but I've wondered about this too. Think it might depend on what sort of job you're looking for....
