What job do you do that fits in around your children?

I have two DC aged almost 3 and 1. My eldest starts nursery in September for 4 mornings a week and my MIL will help with childcare in the afternoons and evenings

So, I am looking at ideas on what part time job I can do - afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Care work, supermarket or other retail work or bar/ restaurant perhaps? What experience do you have?

Could you not work daytime hours and have MIL collect from nursery and babysit for a few hours afterwards?
I work in a school as Pastoral support and do 8.30-4 weekdays, school holidays off.

It depends very much on your pre children professional background Smile

Thank you!

Mil works until 1pm so it would have to be after that. My friend is a pastoral support worker too and I quite fancy that actually.

I have a degree in English. Have experience in retail, call centres, offices, admin/receptionist, but I feel lost. I'm doing more studying ATM to become a tutor.
Looking at a care worker for a residential home, I think that would be good.

Thanks so much.
