Just a quick poll to see what the likely outcome of a 'job at risk' situation is.

I’m terrified as I’ve been with my employer for 11 years after moving to the UK from Australia & have recently been put at risk. I had a vision of being with the company until retirement & moving up the ladder. Now I don’t know how I’ll get work with the same income & am genuinely worried about my future. It’s an awful feeling & one I wouldn’t wish upon anyone. I opted for redeployment however there are not too many positions available internally so I’m thinking about other options like retraining. People have told me that more often than not, people find they’re better off after these life shocks & when one door closes another door opens. I’m trying to stay positive however the fear & worry is constantly on my mind 😫
