Saturday activity club for 4-11 year olds?

I've had an idea and would love any feedback please :)

Would any mums out there with primary aged kids use a Saturday club?

Would work something like a holiday club (so would run say 9.30 - 4.30 or thereabouts) and offer kids activities like sports, crafts, games and just socialising. I'm not sure yet if it would be viable to offer 1/2 day options or just a full day but I would be thinking to price it at around £25 per child per full day.

I think I'd run it all year round (not just term times) and the only commitment would be on a week by week basis (ie. you'd need to book in advance for the coming weekend).

I know there are already drama groups that run for 3 hours on weekend mornings/afternoons which obviously suit some kids (and their parents!) - however what I'm looking to do is more of a useful facility for both parents who may need some free time at the weekend or have kids that need lots of entertaining!

I hope I'm not the only mother to pull my hair out at weekends trying to keep 3 kids occupied (!) and I know I would use something like this if it were available.

I think in theory it sounds of interest, but not sure I'd pack DS off there each week for the full day. Half a day would be more attractive I think.

Obviously parents that work at the weekend could find it useful.

That sounds like bliss Lol. And I think kids would love it! When can I sign them up lol. I don't think I would use something like that every weekend but would certainly be good option.

I would not, but only because my two primary aged sons do football on a Saturday morning and cricket when football finishes, which takes us to lunchtime and I would not put them in a club after that, but eveyone's circumstances are different and some may find it very useful
