Redundancy before maternity leaves and pay cut if I accept their offer

I really hope this thread gets seen before midday tomorrow as I have a meeting with HR then.

Briefly - I am 31 weeks pregnant and due to 12 months maternity leaves on 15th April. I have been working for this company for 6 years and have been through different pay rises, promotions and job titles.

My latest job title has never been confirmed by and addendum to my contract and the current role has been made redundant along with everybody else in my team (except the team leader which has had a promotion)

They would like me to accept their offer to one of the new positions they are making available in order to keep my enhanced maternity pay on my current salary untouched for 12 months, otherwise I will have to accept the redundancy and lose my maternity pay.

However, the new position will have a 6K pay cut and I will be relocated outside the M25, even though on my current contract the mobility clause mentions they can relocate me only within the M25.

Is all they are doing fair? Would there be any room for negotiation? What are my options?

Thanks very much in advance.

You don't have to accept the new job.

Is there any job available which is more suitable for you, in terms of location, salary etc?

Do you have any concerns about your redundancy, or any reason to believe it was unfair or not genuine? Doesn't sound like it if the whole team's going, but worth asking.
