Had an interview yesterday for a job as neonatal hearing screener, just had phonecall to say they were very happy to meet me and would like to offer me the job, I'm so excited. I posted on an earlier thread saying how scared I was of the interview etc...

Congratulations. It's a very wortwhile job too. My son is deaf and has been wearing hearing aids since he was 9 months old (no screening in those days). It really makes a difference wearing aids as soon as possible, or introducing sign language etc. The NDCS has a Parents' Place board if you want to see people's feelings when they find out their children are deaf. No doubt you already know about this on the professional side, but from the parents p.o.v as well. Good luck in your new job.
