OH MY GOD!!! I'VE JUST ENQUIRED ABOUT GOING BACK TO WORK!!

Where has the time gone? I gave up work to be a SAHM almost seven years ago. I remember my last day at work, heavily pregnant with dd1, like it was yesterday. I have had two children and my youngest is starting school this September.

I have just phoned the local hospital, where I used to work, to make enquiries about working on the bank as a medical secretary and they are going to send me an application form.

I am shaking like a leaf, so nervous about going back to work and am desperately hoping that I will remember how to do things. Everything will have changed so much in that seven years as well so I am worried that I'll be able to get back into the job okay.

Also feel quite sad that this stage in my life is coming to an end. It has gone so fast.

Not sure when I will choose to start as yet. DD is at preschool two and a half days a week at the moment. Might enjoy my last few months as a SAHM and then get into it in November when dd is full time at school.

I gave up most work 7 years ago too (apart from bits and pieces of freelance) and I go back to work, part time, on Monday. I'm really looking forward to it.
