This will be the 5th achieving change that we are about to go through. We have 6 months of yes we're OK new structure and plans in place then wham 6 months later we're here again.
Working for the council is like living with a huge redundancy cloud over you for 6 months out of the year......everyone is stressed to death with loads more work to do but no one dare say anything as with the next round of job losses they're out. We've now been told that budget cuts that were for 4 years will now be 6, they'll be none of us left soon. It's really depressing and I wished I could get something else out there but there really is nothing.....so I'll hang on in and see what happens which wouldn't be bad except my DH is in the same position so we could both be out of work!!
